When the concept was originally discussed we thought we were maybe solving a problem that didn't exist. After all, how hard is it to unscrew a couple of screws each side, swap the pedals, tighten the screws adjust the angle with another 4 screws getting everything even on both sides... right?. We were so wrong! The feedback we got was tremendous, most people buy multiple pedal sets, but after swapping a few times initially, end up just using one set for all, due to the hassle factor. Following this feedback and critique, the design went through some stringent testing and rehashing to make it work even better than we first envisaged and now completely removes any barriers to swapping the pedals in a few seconds to create a much more immersive experience!
Designed to fit the awesome MFG Crosswind rudder pedals, the QRMFG Bases, QRMFG Quick Release Plates and QRMFG Starter Kits are for the quick mounting and unmounting of Rudder Pedal Foot Plates to the MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals with the added bonus of optionally reducing the overall width by up to 44mm - ideal for some narrower rigs!
QRMFG Base Mounts
You will need 1 pair of the Base Mounts, available separately or in one of the Starter Kits. They fit directly to the MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedal base (not included with any of our QRMFG products).
QRMFG Universal QR Plates
You will need 1 pair of these per pedal set, available separately or in one of the starter kits if you wish to quickly fit standard MFG Manufactured pedals to our QR Bases. The Universal Starter kit comes with 2 pairs, the Pedal based Starter kits come with 1 pair each.
QRMFG Pedals
QRMFG Pedals come with their own custom QRMFG Quick Release plates and are not width adjustable. QRMFG Pedals can be purchased in pairs or alternatively as part of a pedal based Starter Kit.
QRMFG Starter Kits
Get yourself up and running with a discounted Starter Kit, all you need to start your journey to Quick Release pedal nirvana and have just the right pedals at your feet for the aircraft you are flying.
- The QRMFG Universal Starter Kit is ideal if you already have 2 or more MFG manufactured pedals sets.
- A QRMFG Pedal Starter Kit is ideal if you have only 1 MFG manufactured pedal set and wish to add another set of QR4rigs pedals to your collection.
Of course, once you are set up, you can add more pedals from QR4rigs or alternatively by adding more universal QR Plates, MFG manufactured pedals or compatible pedals from 3rd party sources.
