The QRUHD DD Steel Kit is designed to mount to the base of Direct Drive Wheel Bases to enable quick mounting and dismounting of the Wheel Base on your rig.
The upper 'clam shell' parts are manufactured from 3mm Steel Plate and finished in a fine textured powder coat.
The QRUHD DD QR Plate can be locked down to the QRUHD Base Mount with 2 thumbscrews, ensuring rigidity in use (see picture #3).
The angle of incline of the QR DD Steel can be easily altered to 5°, 10° or 15° from horizontal giving you the optimum choice for your rig and driving comfort.
IMPORTANT:
- Always use the 2x Thumbscrews/M6 Form ‘G’ washers that are supplied with the QRUHD Base Mount to secure the QR Plate to the QRUHD Base Mount once locked in place.
- Always only use the QR Levers when the Thumbscrews are removed to lock/unlock the QR Plate.
- Never use the QR Levers to eject heavy devices, just unlock them a little and then use both hands to remove the controller/QR Assembly
