The QRUHD Bases and QRUHD Quick Release Plates are for mounting controllers to a wheel table or another equally solid platform, is based around a 250mm (W) x 150mm (D) baseplate and is designed to accomodate wider, heavier centrally mounted peripherals. Please ensure you choose the correct family of QRUHD Controller QR plates and not the standard size QRMax family of controller QR Plates.
There are 3 sets of mounting holes that can be used and are tailored to most Next Level Racing's Wheel Tables, 40series 40160 profile aluminium extrusion, DOF Reality Wheel Tables ('D' Shaped and Rectangular) and on top of the DOF Reality Honeycomb Table Addon. A drawing is provided below for those who are more DIY minded and may have a solid mounting plate that requires drilling.
NOTE: The QRUHD Base Mount is unsuitable for direct mounting to the main central beam of the DOF Reality rigs, but we do have a solution. The QRUHD / QRMax Base Support DOFR Main Beam Kit enables mounting of the QRUHD or QRMax Base Mounts to the DOF Reality main beam.
We have added 2 thumbscrews to the base to eliminate noticable flex from the QRUHD Base and QR Plates, locking them down firmly in place when in use. These only take a few extra seconds to install and uninstall.
The Lever design has changed from our other levers to reflect the intended use of locking/unlocking the QR Plate in place laterally rather than assisting in dismounting heavy controllers.
We recommend the minimum stable support footprint under the QRUHD to be equal or greater than 200mm wide x 150mm deep and ideally as large or larger than the QRUHD Base itself.
If all you have at your disposal is 4080, then we do have a solution (available separately) to support the QRUHD Base Mount:
The QRUHD range includes support for DD Wheels, large yokes and FFB joysticks. A QRUHD Universal QR plate (QRUHDUniQR) is also available for DIY Mounting unsupported controllers in the same spot. The QRUHDUniQR also has mounting points for QRPro and QRDee bases so that smaller controllers can be mounted to it without a rather large QR plate attached to them, for easier storage.
Notes:
For NLR Racing style rigs with Wheel Tables choose Option 1 (Standard fixing kit).
For DOF Reality Rectangular wheel tables, choose Option 1 (Standard fixing kit).
For DOF Reality 'D' shaped wheel tables, choose Option 3 (DOFR 'D' Fixing Kit)
For DOF Reality Honeycomb Table Addon, choose Option 4 (DOFR Honeycomb Table Fixing Kit)
IMPORTANT:
- Always use the 2x Thumbscrews/M6 Form ‘G’ washers that are supplied with the QRUHD Base Mount to secure the QR Plate to the QRUHD Base Mount once locked in place.
- Always only use the QR Levers when the Thumbscrews are removed to lock/unlock the QR Plate.
- Never use the QR Levers to eject heavy devices, just unlock them a little and then use both hands to remove the controller/QR Assembly

In addition to this Base Mount, you will also need a QRUHD QR Plate for each controller/peripheral you wish to mount.
