The QRUHD Bases and QRUHD Quick Release Plates are for mounting controllers to a wheel table or another equally solid platform, is based around a 250mm (W) x 150mm (D) baseplate and is designed to accomodate wider, heavier centrally mounted peripherals. Please ensure you choose the correct family of QRUHD Controller QR plates and not the standard size QRMax family of controller QR Plates.
This QRUHD Base Mount is designed to be combined with the included QRUHD Base Support. There is a single set of six mounting holes in the base to be used to fix it to the Base Support which is designed to be mounted to 40-series (4080 and 40120 only) profile aluminium extrusion in this combination.
There are 2 thumbscrews with the base to eliminate noticable flex from the QRUHD Base and QR Plates, locking them down firmly in place when in use. These only take a few extra seconds to install and uninstall.
The Lever design has changed from our other levers to reflect the intended use of locking/unlocking the QR Plate in place laterally rather than assisting in dismounting heavy controllers.
The QRUHD range includes support for DD Wheels, large yokes and FFB joysticks. A QRUHD Universal QR plate (QRUHDUniQR) is also available for DIY Mounting unsupported controllers in the same spot. The QRUHDUniQR also has mounting points for QRPro and QRDee bases so that smaller controllers can be mounted to it without a rather large QR plate attached to them, for easier storage.
IMPORTANT:
- Always use the 2x Thumbscrews/M6 Form ‘G’ washers that are supplied with the QRUHD Base Mount to secure the QR Plate to the QRUHD Base Mount once locked in place.
- Always only use the QR Levers when the Thumbscrews are removed to lock/unlock the QR Plate.
- Never use the QR Levers to eject heavy devices, just unlock them a little and then use both hands to remove the controller/QR Assembly

- QRUHD Base Plate Assembly c/w 2x QRUHD Lever (Red [default] or Choose Colour)
- 6x M6x12mm s/s CSK Skt screws
- 4x M8x16mm s/s CSK Skt Screws
- 4x M8 Drop-in T-Nuts
In addition to this Base Mount, you will also need a QRUHD QR Plate for each controller/peripheral you wish to mount.
A Dust Cover Plate is available for when the base is not in use - QRUHD Dust Cover Plate
