The QRUHD FFB Yoke Kit is designed to mount to the underside of a board that your FFB or Large format yoke is mounted atop of, to enable quick mounting and dismounting of the yoke on your rig.
Due to the size of these controllers, the kit requires you to mount your FFB / large format Yoke to a board of some sort (you will need to source this yourself). The fixing kits assume a 6mm board. The recommended sizes for the boards are in the downloadable Mounting Instructions below for the most popular yokes from Brunner and flightsim.
NOTE: You will need an extended Wheel/Yoke table measuring at least 376mm front to back and 250mm side to side, to support this kit and your yoke.
For DOF Reality owners, we have provided a downloadable guide below as a suggestion for replacing and extending your existing Rectangular Wheel Table with a framework assembled out of 3030 extrusion that would support your FFB Yoke AND a Throttle by the side.
IMPORTANT:
- Always use the 2x Thumbscrews/M6 Form ‘G’ washers that are supplied with the QRUHD Base Mount to secure the QR Plate to the QRUHD Base Mount once locked in place.
- Always only use the QR Levers when the Thumbscrews are removed to lock/unlock the QR Plate.
- Never use the QR Levers to eject heavy devices, just unlock them a little and then use both hands to remove the controller/QR Assembly
