QRMinSteel Universal Footplate

The QRMinSteel Universal Footplate (QRMinSteelUF) is designed to accomodate all of our QRMin Base Mount kits without the need for drilling many holes accurately. The QRMinSteelUF is made from 3mm steel, has a fine textured satin black powder-coated finish and has an identical footprint (overall size) as our QRMin Base Mount Kit x4 (364mm (W) x 320mm (D) x 3mm (H).

Mounting is acheived by using some of the fixing points that we attach the QRMin Base Mounts to. The spacing, (side to side) of the widest fixing points is 274mm between centres the same as Fanatec ClubSport Pedals.

Mounting the footplate to your rig can be acheived in various ways and we have a number of mounting kits available that should meet your needs depending on the type of rig you are mounting to. Please see the pictures above for mounting examples. If you are in doubt of which options to choose, feel free to contact us and we will try to assist

Fixing Kit Options

1. Standard Fixing Kit
Choose this option if you don't need anything but screws, washers and nuts to fit the QRMinSteelUF to your rig.

2. 40-Series Fixing Kit
Choose this option if you have an extrusion based rig and if you need an option to QR both small and large footprint pedals on your rig.

3. 2020-300 Fixing Kit
Choose this option if you already have a footplate that does not have all the holes needed for the QRMin Base Mounts or your rigs footplate is too small, to fit the QRMinSteelUF to your rig.

4. 2020-400 Fixing Kit
Choose this option if you already have a footplate that does not have all the holes needed for the QRMin Base Mounts or your rigs footplate is too small AND you need to extend it, to fit the QRMinSteelUF to your rig.

Upgrades

If you need to upgrade to the x5 kit then all you need to do is purchase the QRMin Quick Release Base Mount 40 x4 to x5 Upgrade Kit and choose the Std fixing kit.

If you need to upgrade to the x6 kit then all you need to do is purcahse the QRMin Quick Release Base Mount 40 Kit x2 and choose the Std fixing kit.
 

You will need the QR Plates specifically associated with each set of pedals you wish to mount (supplied separately).

FAQ

You already have a full footplate.
If you already have a full steel footplate and the hole pattern does not match for all our QRMin Base Mount options, you would need to drill holes to suit. Most footplates have 4x 8mm holes for Fanatec ClubSport Pedals. On the QRMinSteelUF, the hole spacing matches perfectly with 4 of the Fixing holes on our mounting plate. we would recommend however, to allow room for the nuts on the back, to use our 2020-300 or 2020-400 fixing kits so you can position the QRMinSteelUF just wherer you want front to back.

You have a 40-series rig and have 2 extrusions going from side to side.
The QRMinSteelUF opens up your choices of adding small footprint Pedals to your rig AND larger footprint pedals without the need for adding more extrusions to mount them to.

You already have some QRMin Base Mounts, will these fit to the QRMinSteelUF?
All of the QRMin Base Mount 40 series kits, will fit to the QRMinSteelUF. Unfortunately, some of the (non 40) QRMin Base Mount centre Bases from the older x3 and x5 kits do not have the correct hole spacing.

Note: Aside form the Steel Plate itself and the fixing options, the assembled option contains 3D printed parts, there will be obvious print lines on these parts due to the nature of 3D printing.
