The QRMax Base Mount 40 is a 180mm wide x 150mm deep baseplate and is designed to accomodate most table mounted peripherals.

New QRMax 40-Series Compatability
The QRMax Base Mount 40 is a new edition and replaces the original version of the trusty QRMax Base Mount. The QRMax system remains entirely compatable as there is no change to the Quick Release system itself.
The main change is to the mounting holes for the base itself to give many more mounting choices, including on to 40-Series Aluminium Extrusions. We have retainined the legacy mounting holes at 78.4mm x 66mm and 150mm x 60.1mm for the original mounting choices. A template is provided below for those who are more DIY minded and may have solid mounting plates that require drilling.
If you have a 40-Series Profile Aluminium Extrusion based rig, you will need to choose optional 40-Series Profile fixing kit to help you fit the base mount to your rig directly to the extrusion itself, without the need for a metal mounting plate underneath. This kit comes with fixings and 'Drop-in' T-nuts so there is no need to remove any end caps you may have fitted.
Whatever you are mounting to, we recommend no less than 66% coverage of the total surface area of the Base Mount. For the QRMax this would be 120mm wide by 100mm deep absolute minimum or preferrably as big or bigger than the Base Mount itself. In terms of 40 series profile, this would be 40120 minimum rather than the more popular 4080.
If you have just 4080 at your disposal, then we have an alumimium Base Support Bracket available that wil provide the needed support for the QRMax Base Mount 40.
The Lever comes in Red as default, but you can choose from 9 different colours when adding to your cart at no extra cost if you want a different accent theme on your rig!

Note: This item 3D printed, there will be obvious print lines on this product due to the nature of 3D printing. You may need to drill holes and need longer bolts than supplied if the plate you are fixing to is more than 5mm thick.
